KROK, UNIVERSITET EKONOMIKI TA PRAVA, VNZ

Founded in 1992 «KROK» University is one of the first private higher educational institutions in Ukraine. In 2003 the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine accredited the University at the IV (highest) level.

Though our University is comparatively young, we have accumulated academic traditions and practices that make KROK a unique place for students and staff:

The main goal of the University is to provide students with qualitative training and facilitate their competitiveness on the labour market. The University’s success is the result of well-coordinated work of highly qualified professionals who elaborated an efficient training system.

At present, the University enrols students to departments of full-time studies (including overseas students) and part-time students. Over 500 second degree and postgraduate students obtain the second higher education, undertake various professional development and retraining courses. «KROK» University set up preparatory departments within Kyiv and 16 regions of Ukraine. In 2002 the University established Pre-training (Linguistic) Department for foreign citizens.

One of the latest achievements is that in the years of 2006-2007 the University started to offer such innovative educational programs as:

KROK-Profi - students are granted 2 degrees: in Marketing and in International Relations (majoring in International Information);
KROK-Leader – students are granted 2 degrees: in Finance and Credit - full-time studies - and Law - part-time studies;
KROK-Exclusive (field of study: International Economics) – a number of specialized courses taught in English; extensive learning of German;
KROK-Elite (field of study: International Economics) – in-depth training in International Law;
KROK-Practitioner (field of study: Management) - in-depth practical training.

The academic staff of the University consists of highly qualified and professional teachers and instructors. Almost 600 academic staff members are involved in the educational process. Most of them work on the full-time basis as the professors and assistant professors of the University. 70% of the University staff have PhD degrees. With the introduction of inter-disciplinary units the professors and lecturers of the University are engaged more and more in development of the integrated curriculum materials.

The KROK University is characterized by its active life: we implement, improve, develop and do not stop at our achievements. However we do not neglect old but useful traditions and consider achievements of the best Ukrainian and foreign universities.
